Lady Kim is the co-founder of Anointed Temple of Praise Outreach Ministries, Inc. (ATOP) Memphis, Tenn.
A native of Chicago, Illinois she is the middle of three children born to Leon Jones and Mary Jane (Ford) Jones. She attended Catholic Schools in Chicago, where the nuns noticed her bubbly personality and took a special interest in her giving her many opportunities to speak, sing and represent the school at various functions.
Her grandparents also played a vital role in her Christian nurture by allowing her to perform many tasks at their AME Church such as praying, preparing communion, sing in the choir and extending the welcome and occasion at many afternoon programs. This was the foundation of her Christian experience.
Upon graduation from high school she attended Bradley University where she met the love of her life, Pastor Thomas L. Murray. When Pastor Murray accepted his call into ministry, Lady Kim realized that her role was not only to be the "Pastors Wife" and just support her husband, but to be a true "First Lady" and assume an active partnership in ministry. The Murray's are blessed to have two daughters, Tiara La’shai Murray and Tiffany Latrice Murray Harris. They have one son-in-law, Demetrius Harris and three grandchildren Deion Harris, Jordan Harris, and Noah Woodberry.
Lady Kim continued to pursue academic excellence and received her BS in Elementary Education from the Memphis State University (Memphis, TN) and her Master in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College (Detroit, MI). Lady Kim is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She has been employed over the years in numerous school systems as a teacher and currently works for the Shelby County Schools in Memphis, TN as a Parent Educator.
Accepting her call into the ministry in 1999, Lady Kim has preached at Seek for the Old Path, a shelter for homeless women and families, various churches for special occasions as well as at her home church. She was and continues to be a catalyst for many of the ministries and programs that were birthed at ATOP during it's infancy such as the Intercessory Prayer Warriors, Praise Team, Sunday School, Children's Ministry, New Members Ambassadors, New Members Class and the New Christians Baptism Class.
