DR. KIM MURRAY

Dr. Kim Murray know by her congregation as “Lady Kim” is the co-founder of Anointed Temple of Praise Christian Church (DOC), (ATOP) Memphis, TN. A product of Chicago Catholic Schools, her unique spirit and lively personality was nurtured and encouraged by the nuns, who took a special interest in her and gave her a variety of opportunities to excel. Her gift of song and oratorical articulation made her the obvious choice to represent her school at numerous social functions throughout the city.

A major influence through her adolescent years were her grandparents. They were instrumental in the development of her fundamental beliefs and Christian indoctrination, by advancing and providing numerous opportunities for her to display a wealth of talents that included praying, ushering, singing in the choir, and extending the welcome and occasion at many afternoon and evening programs. These spiritual encounters provided the essence of her Christian experience and spiritual development.
